The all-new 2023 Bauer Supreme protective line is developed for players who like their gear to fit close to the body and are looking for optimal mobility. A couple of big upgrades to the M5 Pro shin guards is the X-Flex Shield shin cap and CURV Composite calf guard.

Passed down from the top-end MACH shin guard is the ErgoDynamic Lab kneecap for a deeper fit and locked-in feel. A massive feature added to this 2nd price point shin guard is the all-new X-Flex shield with a hinged flex where the shin guard and tongue of the skate meet. With this added range of motion, players can skate and maneuver without feeling too restricted.
For added protection throughout this shin guard, Bauer utilizes solid construction and high-end foams. The calf guard includes CURV Composite for excellent resistance against hockey impacts like blocked shots and slashes. The knee wing includes MD foam offering quality coverage at the top of the pad.
The M5 Pro shin guard includes their Comfort Lock strap at the top and a calf strap to secure the shin guard to your leg, maximizing its protective and performance benefits.
Inside the shin guard, Bauer includes a removeable comfort liner with molded air channels, and their Thermo Max+ lining. This liner helps to keep the shin guards light and will dry out quickly in between on-ice sessions.
