The Sherwood Code I Shin Guard is built for the casual, recreational hockey player in need of affordable protection. Hard molded plastic suspended away from the foam liner prevents impact energy from reaching the shin. Guarding the calf is a plastic insert lined with soft foam for added comfort and slash protection.
Internally, a soft liner built with antimicrobial copper thread provides bacteria-fighting capabilities that won't wash out. The COP-r29 liner is also removable, so go ahead and throw it in the wash so you never run into a smelly situation.
