The Sherwood Code III Shin Guard has a traditional molded plastic knee and shin construction with better reinforcement on the back of the leg. Thicker foam on top of an anatomically shaped calf guard increases protection to active sticks and puck impacts.
An added knee wing also extends coverage with perforated foam that extends into the liner itself to offer great breathability. Sherwood built the knee strap with a stretchable nylon fabric that when paired with the 1.5" nylon v-strap, keeps the leg firmly secured and comfortable within the shell.
The Code III's removable liner is soft and plush but has copper thread woven directly into the fabric, adding bacteria-fighting properties that won't wash out.
